Survey: A survey was conducted using Google Forms and distributed in a Facebook group for electric car and plug-in hybrid owners in Sweden. It garnered 118 participants of diverse ages, genders, and locations. The survey explored participants' app usage, experiences, and preferences.

Interview: A telephone interview was conducted with a single participant who owned a Kia plug-in hybrid. The participant used the Kia Connect and Zaptec apps and provided insights into their experiences, challenges, and desired improvements.
